At a recent press launch, Chalet Ski Holidays announced that it will be introducing a new and innovative tool to improve the customer experience with an innovative system to help its customers avoid the difficulty gaining consensus in respect of choosing a ski resort and then the ski chalet.

Set to launch in the middle of February, Chalet ski have developed a compare and share tool. Whilst there are many comparison tools in various industries, the Chalet Ski development goes a step further and addresses one of the main problems when organising a ski holiday with friends and family, gaining consensus without considerable communication and correspondence.

Using a Group page, skiers can on the Chalet Ski set up a closed network where they can select amongst their group up to five chalets and all in the group can then comment and evaluate a shortlist of chalets in various ski resorts for all to see and share when choosing. Within the functionality of the system, the Group functionality even aggregates the score and ranks the chalets accordingly in the left hand bar so users can see which chalet is most popular, alleviating the need for endless emails and telephone calls that typify the stress of organising a group of four or more.

It is an innovative step forward in terms of ease of booking and one that is sure to set the mark for other ski operators and agents to follow.
